happy new year!!

haven been blogging in a lonng long lonnng time n this is the first post of 2006!!

the last month's been crazy.
like madness daily back to back trainings and trainings n trainings..
for us very sad freshies, very inexperienced in some sports n therefore very very stressed out training
think we shld chill n think about our core sports which will not let us down even if/when we suck playing other very unfamiliar sport and getting stressed out..

celebrated the coming of 2006 in front o the tv at dear home in punggol central blk 186
just din feel like trudging thru the horrendous crowd in town or wherever there was celebrations and it was just quiet, nice n cosy sitting in front of the tv or with a book
=)

speaking o which im rather homesick..
miss being at home n being ard my family

new year's day was spent with my family again haha
went bowling at katong shopping centre in the morn where every game was cheeeap cheeap at 2bucks each! ahha

but well..
driving ard katong area was nostalgic..
the familiar landmarks ive seen for 6 years reminds me so much of my lovely lovely TKGS n VJ days
=)

miss the area man..
even parkway which we used to say was over-visited but now somewhere i haven been in ages.

but the best was still TK PE swimmings days where us lower sec girlies had to make our way to damn damn ulu tanjong katong swimming complex
passing all the quaint old houses and flats
and taking a million n one buses coz its so damn ulu

kallang tennis centre where we used to train and spend most of our tennis days
and its damn sad how the east coast tennis centre have been converted to degrading and ugly gross fun fair grounds.grr.

post new year's day, i went to causeway point! haha
coz i just found out there's a str8 bus there from sengkang which only takes 1/2 hr but tt was according to my mom
in the end the bus ride was near an hr and the place was orh-kay only
compass point can win quite easily haha

but well anyway..
was on my way back at abt 930 n was super surprised to see damn a lot of little pri/sec1 kids still ard the area!!
like when i was tt age i'd be quite the gan cheong on e eve o sch reopening
like i'll go to bed DAMN early knowing i wun be able to get to sleep just filled w anticipation, anxiety wadsoever accompanying the first day of sch

i even had a few nightmares of being late on the first day of sch!!

haha
wad a guai kia i was..

so anyway
i was worried for these kids still shopping n playing ard on the eve of sch reopening
ahaha
and was gancheong on their behalf
ahah like nv get ready mentally for sch again

so there i spent the large part of the beginning of 2006 reminiscing and nostalgic

time passes too fast for us and appreciate wad we have lost man..
but of coz, we've always gotta look ahead..
