hello everybody! blogging from japan...its been a week plus in japan now n its about time for some updates haha

- Im in Hiroshima, Japan for an internship
- My internship company is Kinki Nihon Tourist, a tourism company but the branch im attached to is the Hiroshima Events and Conventions so tt's v good coz i like events! :)
- BUT the thing is, all i do everyday is follow different (section managers) ard and 1) either watch them do sales or 2) sit with them at events/seminars and wait for things to do
- the most useful things i have done are 1) translate for a (angmoh) tourist 2) pack goodie bags 3) slot in namecards into luggage tags.

haha well it sounds damn boring la although its also v slack.. but i am learning quite a bit of things..esp about japanese culture 例えば(for example)
- their ultra politeness and　たてまえ(eh...public face?demeanour?) like they will keep compliementing me for the sake of politeness..they kinda treat us like guests..which sounds like a good thing but really quite tiring coz feel paiseh all the time (qt shiok la so far 3 days lunch got treated) but still..its gets annoying after a while of them repeatedly saying 「日本語すごく上手ですね」(your japanese is very good!) when honestly my Japanese is still quite sucky!! like after tt sentence..ill say something more difficult which is obviously wrong and they obviously dun understd wad im saying BUT they will still say 「日本語上手ですね！」(Your Japanese is good!)

really wanna die coz like, i really feel very 迷って(lost) at many a times when they tok to each other super rapidly. so sad. wish i cld really tok to them properly most of the time tho..but unforch..most of them cant speak English and their Kansai弁(accent) is very fast. boo

but not to worry..its still a v good experience..i really like walking ard like a local every morning..20mins walk to the nearest tram station to work and getting mistaken as a local every now and then..its really something ive always wanted: to be able to experience day to day life in another country :)

i guess Japan is especially challenging coz of the language barrier..

as u all can probably tell by now..my english kinda sucks coz im really like speaking Japanese 12hr/day and much of my thoughts are in Japanese alrdy :)

however, my std still really sucks when i cant understand their conversations and stuff so ya..just gotta get better while staying lost and confused. hahah shit.

just a short update for now den penning down some thoughts..too tired today..went to watch baseball!! haha which was damn cool will blog about it next week when im more free..nnights!
