I WENT TO HAW PAR VILLA AFTER A TEN-YR HIATUS!
xinli lor and i went jogging just now and because it was still bright, we just ran into Haw Par Villa spontaneously immediately after i suggested it.

I HAVEN BEEN THERE IN TEN+ YEARS! seriously! n after 6 mths+ staying near it i finally went in there!

was quite a nostalgic trip, thought i dun remember much from there except a big long stairs framed w lions/tigers coz i took a picture there when i was last there ten+ years ago
still remember i went w my aunt n her ex-bf as lightbulb! haha i think at tt time still must bring a kid ard when you go pak tor one hahaha

anyway i always remembered the place to be like huge! but after today, i think it was because i was small last time so everything seemed huge, today i went to look at the stairs, n it's only like 1metre high?? woa lao..but very wasted la that place.. Aw Boon Par spent so much effort, built so many intricate stories but now its just there collecting dust...can still remember its glory days man! sooooo crowded!! but now sho sad..all the algae and water plants overpowering the ponds which are like lifeless n stagnant. sigh. sho sad.

just so remind me of my long gone childhood..even the places we used to fascinate at is mere derelict now..

so sad...
remember Asian Civilisations Village in Sentosa? Chinese Gardens?
they were luxury destinations for us last time man!

maybe 10 yrs down the road sentosa will be forgotten too n we shall all only b able to reminisce our sun tanning and beach ball days..anything can happen okay!
