WHY DO EVERYBODY HATE CNY?!!!!!

its one of my favourite festivals in the year!

i mean i noe it can be boring and repetitive with all those nosey relatives and all

i mean i personally rotted for like 3 and a 1/2 days in a wittle town in JB getting bored out of my wits but given any CNY i'll do it again!

wad's the point of CNY if we don't do all these visiting and catchin up??
wads the point of CNY if we go overseas where you don't see your extended family whom u barely see in what, 3 years??

where's the lovE y'all??

maybe i'm just a slicker for tradition just like my mom
but kinda feel strongly against travelling or just sitting out CNY.

sorry my future kids,
but u gotta go through all these with me!

anyhows,
maybe i'm just not being fair.
since i'm always in a diff place during CNY
where maybe i can experience some sense of freshness..
staying over at relatives and doing nothing but explore the miserable town.

and i get to see/play with firecrackerss!
(that i noe not many ever get to experience)

and my extended family's quite a jolly bunch
always teasing (ok, it can get annoying) and laughing
and i like to play with my young cousins, nieces and nephews

and thanks goodness for my dear cousin Liyi without whom i think i woulda been more bored!

but anyhows
LOVE CNY!
love it for all its warmth and familiar faces
love it for all its fire cracker glory and bak kua yummy
love it for all the damm ang baos u get if all else fails
(dun complain of yours being measly i got only 80 ringgit k)
